Whilst DECT devices still use a telephone adapter for connection to the PBX, the cordless telephone innovaphone IP72 already uses the IP network for this. It is innovaphone’s first WLAN telephone which uses this state-of-the art technology. A higher integration level can be reached with the direct access and the features can be fully used as with a system telephone.

 

 

Battery capacity
The new battery technology, economical chipsets and support of protocol spoofing from the wireless multimedia extensions of IEEE 802.11 e enable 8 hours of active calling time and almost 40 hours stand-by without needing to recharge. This means the telephone is perfect for professional and business use.

 

Mobility also when travelling
The separate support of VPN tunnelling protocol enables connection to the company network from all WLAN zones. Registration to the company telephone system takes place via a secure tunnel and it is possible to use all features of the telephone freely with your own extension number.

 

Please note: Stable uninterrupted functionality of the innovaphone IP72 phone can only guaranteed by innovaphone if it is connected to suitable access points.
