The IP232 telephone has been developed entirely in-house and unite a very modern design with groundbreaking technological details. The new housing lives up to very modern requirements, providing unique technical details such as magnetic handset cradle and impressive hands-free sound quality. The four standard USB interfaces on these telephones are perfectly suited for versatile extensions. These interfaces can be used to easily connect headsets, extension modules and other peripheral devices.
The new G.722.2 standard has been implemented, which is an optimized version of the voice codec G.722.1. It enables voice quality to be adapted dynamically to the available bandwidth, setting completely new quality criteria with MOS values 4.5.
The integration of the brand new Green IT standard 802.3az shows the importance of sustainability for innovaphone’s development department. innovaphone is one of the first manufacturers on the market to integrate this “Energy Efficient Ethernet†standard in its devices. The idea behind this standard is that it enables ports to need power only when data is really being transmitted. The ports are in idle mode when no data is being transmitted (which is usually the case 99% of the time). Therefore, power consumption can be reduced drastically with the innovaphone phone IP232.
Simultanous protocols H.323 and SIP
The innovaphone IP323 supports the protocol H.323 as well as SIP. Therefore the IP phone can be connected to all H.323 compatible telephone systems and can be used in parallel as an SIP provider end device.
Red Dot Design award
The IP222 and the IP323 are rewarded with the Red dot Design award at CBit 2011. With the innovated design the IP222 is ready to be used in the office and at the home office providing full functionality with great look and feel.
High-Speed Ethernet Connection
The innovaphone IP323 is connected to the data network via a Gigabit Ethernet port. The telephone uses the 802.3af and the power saving 802.3az standard for Power over LAN.
