innovaphone IP1200

The innovaphone IP1200 gateway is an add-on solution for the innovaphone PBX with DECT compatible handsets. It is a combined device comprising gateway and DECT base station.

 

The innovaphone IP1200 is an IP-DECT gateway which extends the innovaphone PBX to include DECT compatible subscribers. It enables very complex DECT systems to be configured. The base station IP1200 has multicell capability which allows installation of a number of devices. Roaming and automatic handover features are available between these devices. One base station supports up to 10 channels in parallel. The number of base stations in one system is theoretically limited to 256. Using a repeater increases reception range and achieves a better coverage; however a repeater does not increase the number of channels.

 

Standards
Concerning IP, the system is entirely H.323 and SIP compliant. It supports echo cancellation and a number of codecs for voice compression. Concerning DECT the system is GAP compliant. However the handsets innovaphone IP50, IP52 and IP54 from innovaphone are especially to be recommended.
